Chandra Shekhar Azad Durga Puja Samiti is a religious, community-driven socio-cultural organisation dedicated to celebrating the Sharadiya Durga Puja with devotion, unity, and joy. Inspired by the courage, sacrifice, and patriotic spirit of the great freedom fighter Shaheed Chandra Shekhar Azad, the Samiti works not only to preserve our rich cultural traditions but also to serve society. Alongside the annual Durga Puja celebrations, the Samiti organises blood donation camps, cultural programmes, and various community service initiatives, fostering the values of humanity, brotherhood, and social responsibility. Our motto: Devotion, Service, Culture & Unity.
In the memorable year of 1971, with sheer devotion, spiritual passion, and a vision to unite the community, Shri Jalendra Prasad laid the foundation of Chandra Shekhar Azad Durga Puja Samiti. What began as a heartfelt gathering has flourished over half a century into one of the region's most revered socio-cultural festivals.
“A tradition built on faith, selfless service, and brotherhood continues to illuminate generations.”
